2-Cylinder Single Plug FDP System of Harley Nitro Ignition Guide

The picture below shows 2-cylinder single plug (chamshaft triggered) of the Factory Direct Performance (FDP) Programmable Harley-Nitro Ignition systems. This system combines the benefits of Capacitive Discharge Ignition with the best features of an inductive ignition.

The Harley Nitro Ignition included the following parts: 1-CD ignition control, 1-inductive ignition control, 1-Pro Data and Disk, 2-3Amp Fuses, 5-Wire Harnesses, 5-wire Caps, 2-20 A Fuses, 1-1 Amp Diode, 8-Mounting Screws, and 7-Wire Ties.

Note: use Y-connector from 4 pin pickup to provide dual ignition hookup, the engine must be equipped with an electric starter (source: msdpowersports.com).
