Webbing Grabber Seatbelt Inspection Process for MA Class Vehicle Guide
Sponsored LinksA webbing clamp (webbing grabber) seatbelt is the safest option for many vehicles when installing a new seatbelt after the previous one has failed during a WoF or CoF inspection. The following algorithm diagram guide applies to MA class vehicles (passenger car) fitted with a single- (R1) or dual- (R2) sensitive retractor seatbelt in a front outer seating position where that seatbelt has failed an inspection.
The vehicle inspectors must use the inspection result as outlines in the diagram (click to enlarge). A table contains list of vehicles generally approved for the fittment of webbing clamp seatbelts can be seen in this document guide (source: transfund.govt.nz)
