A webbing clamp (webbing grabber) seatbelt is the safest option for many vehicles when installing a new seatbelt after the previous one has failed during a WoF or CoF inspection. The following algorithm diagram guide applies to MA class vehicles (passenger car) fitted with a single- (R1) or dual- (R2) sensitive retractor seatbelt in a front outer seating position where that seatbelt has failed an inspection.
