How to Extend PC Port into 500 Feet using KVM Cat5 Extender

KVM Cat5 Extender is designed to control the PC, Server or KVM Switch up to 500 feet away from your keyboard, mouse and VGA monitor. The following diagram perform how to extend console port or PC port of KVM switch up to 500 feet away.

The diagram shows example of KVM9005 device which uses the same existing network construction to transfer local console signal to remote side. And here is How to Extend PC Port into 500 Feet using KVM Cat5 Extender:

1. Connect a KVM switch console port with KVM-9005T transmitter PC port(using standard 3-in-one KVM switch cable – male to male)
2. Connect PC console port with KVM-9005R receiver PC port (using standard 3-in-one KVM switch cable – male to male)
3. Connect CAT5 cable plug to RJ-45 connector of KVM-9005T
4. Same as no.3 but plug to RJ-45 connector of KVM-9005R
5. Connect Keyboard, Mouse, and Monitor to KVM-9005T transmitter console port
6. The same action of no.5 but connect it to KVM-9005R receiver console port
7. Power on PC and KVM-9005R receiver
8. Check the quality of VGA screen, use knobs to adjust the video quality to optimization as necessary.
