How to Guide: Do-It-Yourself Steps for Unlocking Blackberry

make it sure that you’ve upgraded to the latest 4.x.x. firmware (go to options>about setting).
If you don’t find the latest upgraded version, then visit www.blackberry.com to download the desktop manager then the firmware for your model. Doing this should install blackberry driver for you too. Then, remove/disable password from the phone (enter the password wrong 10 times to reformat the phone if you forget yours but all data will be lost). Please remove the security policy since it operated with the server. Connect the phone to pc and click unlock the program, you will see the code then make sure you select the correct phone before reading the code.
And here are steps for entering the unlocking codes:
- Go to Setting Menu->SIM card press select
- Type"MEPD" while holding the SHIFT key (incase of 7100 "MEPDD")
- You may see the five locking categories listed
- Type "MEP2" while holding the ALT KEY (incase of 7100 "MEPP2")
- Release the ALT key
- You will be prompted to enter the network MEP code
- Enter the code
- Enter Return->Enter
- Your Blackberry should then be unlocked!
