How-to Circuit: Install Opel GT Protective Ignition Relay

If you need to diy install a protective action for securing your Opel GT ignition switch, and you might install a protective 4-prongopel gt ignition circuit diagram 30 amp relay in the starter circuit, the following circuit schematic may guide you for installing this relay.

You need to assemble a harness, with 3 short wires, 4 clip ends and 2 eyelet connectors for connecting 3 relay terminals, one solenoid terminal, one round solenoid battery post, and a round ground on the chassis. The existing ignition connection will be transferred from the starter solenoid to the new relay as seen in schematic. You may place the relay above the starter on the under-hood side engine area.
