Do-It-Yourself Programming the iSimple BMW Interface

If you want to connect your iPod (gen 3, 4, mini, and photo iPods), an iSimple BMW interface will allow you to integrate your iPod device to a factory radio. After identifying the correct harness and dip-switch configuration, you may see the following picture for programming the interface.

The dip-switches must be set before the iSimple BMW interface is plugged into the vehicle. The default switches are ‘off’ in up position, and are ‘on’ when switched down.
