How to DIY Install the Forza Exhaust on a 1999 Ducati 900 SS

The Forza exhaust system performs increasing cylinder scavenging which will allowing more air fuel mixture to enter the Forza Stock Exhaust on Ducati SS cylinder and in turn increasing the engine performance. And here is the guide if you want to diy install the Forza Stock Exhaust on a 1999 Ducati 900 Super Sport.

The Forza exhaust include 2 mufflers – left and right and 2 muffler clamps. You need the following tools: a 12mm open-end wrench and a 5mm Allen wrench. First of all you must remove the stock muffler before performing Forza installation, the diagram shows you with hardware removed materials which should be saved for reinstallation purpose.

To install the Forza Exhaust on your 1999 Ducati 900 SS you can follow these steps:

1. Determine the left muffler from the right.
2. Slide the muffler onto its respective header pipe.
3. Replace the two rubber bushings in the foot peg mounts.
4. Slide the muffler clamp over the muffler and align with the bushings
5. Squeeze the muffler clamp by hand and insert the spacer first: through both holes in the clamp and second: through both bushings.
6. Install the washer then the nut and snug the nut leaving it loose enough to allow muffler to rotate in the clamp.
7. Turn the pipe until the exhaust tip is pointed down. Then check that the muffler clears the swing arm.
8. Repeat the same procedure for the other side.
