These are step by step for guiding you make a wooden Xmas decoration with some tools you might already purchased such stylus, glue gun and glittersticks. You will have to prepare the following materials: balsa wood, card for a template, pencil and scissors, mini clamp, red and cream paint and brush, stylus with hole tool and sandling head, glue gun and glittersticks, ribbon, and Dremel multi vice.

And this is how we do it yourself making Wooden Xmas Decoration:

  1. Make a template from card (any shape you like) onto card and cutting it out.
  2. Draw them onto the balsa wood.
  3. By putting the balsa wood into the vice to hold it steady, use the stylus cutting tools for cutting the pencil lines to form the shape.
  4. Turn the balsa wood in the vice so that all sides can be cut.
  5. Make a hole in the top of each shape with using the Stylus, paint both sides
    of each shape and leave the paint to dry completely.
  6. Use a mini clamp to hold the painted stars and hearts, sand along the edges of the shapes using the sanding tool in the Stylus.
  7. Run the Stylus gently along the edges of the shapes to distress them slightly.
  8. Use the glitter glue sticks in the Glue Gun, decorate the wooden shapes with dots of varying sizes.
  9. Thread a length of ribbon through the hole at the top and finish with a
    knot.
