In order to avoid you from elecrical shock hazard, you should not to forget the following Six Rules of Safety When Wiring Plug by Yourself :
| 1. Strip off the outer cable sheathing to expose 4cm of the insulated wires. |
| 2. Do correct wire connections. The brown Live to the fuse holder terminal “L”, the blue Netral to the “N”, green and yellow Earth to the top of plug marked “E” |
| 3. Ensure that the insulation reaches right up to each terminal and that there are no loose strands of wire, tighthen with terminal screws. |
| 4. Fit the flex firmly into the cord-grip |
| 5. See fuse’s requirement to see what rating of fuse |
| 6. Fit the plug cover, no outer insulation is cracked or chipped |
